LINNEUS — A teenager is being charged in connection with an April 9 fire in Linneus.
Tim Lowell, an investigator with the State Fire Marshal’s office, said a 14-year-old male from Hodgdon is facing charges of arson, burglary and criminal trespass as a result of fire that destroyed a Hodgdon Mills Road home.
The home, not being lived in at the time of the fire, was owned by Gary Boyce. The mobile home was fully engulfed when members of the Linneus Fire Department arrived at the scene. The structure wasn’t insured; it, and the items being stored inside it, were destroyed.
Lowell said the investigation into the fire continues and other charges may be filed.
“The investigation has identified several other individuals who are possibly involved and other charges are expected,” added Lowell.
