Little is known of this martial arts enigma, other than as a child he was left in the mountains of Tibet, where a humble society of Tibetan monks took him in and taught him there ways. But Cross always felt in his heart that there was something missing; he felt the grueling training they put him through was meant for something more.
He headed to the states to find his destiny and PCW. Once the Board of Directors discovered the raw and unorthodox talent of Cross, they immediately signed him on as a permanent member of the PCW roster. His debut was in a Singles Match with Razor, and with a victory, got his first taste of destiny. His next step was to compete in the Cruiserweight Gauntlet Match, where he made it down to the final two. He faced off against Mongrel, the cruiserweight favorite, and even though he lost, he showed his true sportsmanship by congratulating the winner, and thus coming one step closer to the answer of his true destiny.
“Problem Solver” Kyle Wells
Height: 5’9” Weight: 221 pounds
From: Bragg Creek, Alberta
Title(s): PCW Heavyweight Championship
PCW Debut: November 17, 2007
Theme Song: “Remember the Name”
by Fort Minor
Signature Move(s): Whisper in the Wind, Leap Frog Leg Drop
Finishing Move(s): STF, Canadian Exchange
“The Problem Solver” was born and raised in Bragg Creek, just minutes away from Calgary. Since the age of 5, Kyle wanted to be a wrestler and represent Canada with pride like so many before him. Since the age of 7, however, Kyle has exhibited an unprecedented attitude problem, which was first seen when a young “Problem Solver” punched his best friend for simply using his pencil.
Despite this issue, Kyle managed to land an opportunity to train in the Dungeon with the legendary Hart family. While the Harts were impressed with Kyle, they were also worried about his gigantic ego. Try as they might, “The Problem Solver” retained his holier-than-thou attitude, leaving the Harts no other choice but to release him from his contract.
Irate, Kyle decided to explore a new pastime — Motocross racing. He raced with Team Canada off and on, winning two championships (which only made his ego even bigger). After accomplishing everything he wanted to in motocross, “The Problem Solver” decided to return to the ring, and to do it in the PCW.
Kyle was introduced to PCW’s audience at Ignition, sweeping the Heavyweight Championship and becoming the first PCW Heavyweight Champion. From there, he developed a rivalry with Corvyn (then known as Forsaken). The two had many hard-fought battles, and at Firestorm, ‘The Problem Solver” lost the Heavyweight Championship to “The Hardcore Icon.”
Enter Christian Starr – Kyle’s classmate and friend from The Dungeon. Christian made his debut illegally, assisting Kyle in a match at Crimson Harvest, and has yet to leave “The Problem Solver’s” side since. With a new tag team partner and a new passion for swerves, there’s no telling where Kyle and the Canadian Exchange will end up next.
