Wilson, Shields promoted at F.A. Peabody

    Chris Anderson, president of the F.A. Peabody Company announces that Chelsea Wilson of Hodgdon has been promoted to human resources manager for F. A. Peabody Company, while Nikki Shields was named as life, health and group benefits agent in their Presque Isle office.
     Wilson began working for the F. A. Peabody Company as the receptionist in 2004. She was promoted to administrative assistant to the president in 2006. In 2008, she was appointed as corporate secretary and clerk for the corporation and its subsidiaries.
     “Chelsea’s professionalism, trustworthiness and dedication to the staff guided the decision to ask her to manage our human resources,” said Anderson.
    Wilson is a graduate of Hodgdon High School. She received her associates of arts degree in business from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 2007. Currently, she is pursuing a BS in business management from the University of Maine at Augusta.
    Wilson is a former president and current member of the National Association of Insurance Women.
    Shields is a licensed State of Maine Life and Health Agent with more than 12 years experience in the insurance industry. She will be focusing on group benefits, individual life, disability, and health insurance including Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement programs. 
    Shields is a graduate of Presque Isle High School. She is also a graduate of the Leadership in Life Institute and a former treasurer of the Northeast Society of Human Resource Mangers (NESHRM) and vice-president of NAIFA Aroostook (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).  She is a current member of the Presque Isle Kiwanis and NAIFA. 
     “Nikki’s positive attitude and experience make her a valuable addition to the department,” said Anderson.
    Shields resides in Presque Isle with her husband, Scott, and their children, Bradley and Nicolas.
