    DERRY, NH – Leland E. "Lee" Boles, 77, died Thursday, August 21, 2008, in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Mr. Boles was born in Linneus, ME on May 14, 1931, a son of the late Lester and Olley (Henderson) Boles.
    He was a resident of Derry for over 20 years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH and Northern Maine. Mr. Boles was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion. He was the owner and operator of Lee Boles Plumbing, Heating and Fuel in Derry for 40 years. Mr. Boles was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Derry for 20 years. He thoroughly enjoyed a special Thursday night Bible study, loved to camp and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janice Boles of Derry; four sons, Douglas Boles, Kevin Boles, Kerry Boles, and Curtis Boles all of Derry; three daughters, Deborah Steckis of Manchester, NH, Kimberly Dunton, and Katie Boles both of Derry; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Keaton of Cary, ME; two brothers, Kenneth Boles of AL, and Terry Boles of Oakfield, ME; as well as many nieces and nephews.
    Friends called on Sunday, August 24th from 1 – 4 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Monday at 1 p.m. in the Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry. The burial was in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
