Kristen Ireland and Colby Lauritsen announce their engagement. Kristen is the daughter of Robin Fitch of Presque Isle, and John Ireland of Fairfield. Colby is the son of Diane Lavway and Marc Lauritsen of Presque Isle.
The prospective bride works at MMG as a CSR, is a 2003 graduate of the Washburn High School and a May 2008 graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle. The future groom works in hardware for Marden’s, is a 2006 graduate of Presque Isle High School and is currently attending Northern Maine Technical College for a degree in welding and metal fabrication and diesel mechanics.
The wedding is scheduled to take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle on September 18, 2009.
