Awards presented at Houlton High

The Middle School Awards ceremony was held recently at Houlton Junior High School.   Superintendent of Schools Stephen Fitzpatrick presented the Secretary of State Good Citizenship Award to Allyson Carmichael. Ethan Morse and Rebekah Holmes received the Academic and Good Citizenship Awards.
    The following special awards were presented: Ervin Stone Algebra Award to Marina Cameron; Morris Cassidy Mathematics Award to Mikaelah Tracy; Technology Education Awards to Caleb McGary and Hayley Mason; Consumer Science Award to Amanda Carmichael; Carol Jordan Reading Award to Victoria Hanson; Margaret Qualey English Award to Emilie Newman; Donna Wheeler Social Studies Award to Kenzie Clark; Vocal Music Award to Heather Jackins; Instrumental Music Award to Lauren Bragan; Combined Music Award to Mallory Clayton; Margaret Churchill Science Award to Miranda Tidd and Art Awards to Maggie Russell and Brittany Jewell.
Junior High Student Council Awards were presented  to Maggie Russell, D.J. McGary, Micah McCarthy, Mallory Clayton, Brianne Britton, Tessa Lilley, Morgan Ross, Chenise Tingley, Ryan Tribou and Jonathan Tuttle.
Third Quarter Principal’s Honor Awards went to Kole Buzzeo, Barrett Dunn, Breanna Longstaff, James Trecartin, Robert Woods, Marina Cameron, Kenzie Clark, Rebekah Holmes, Dylan Howland, Bailey McLaughlin, Ethan Morse, Melissa Peabody and Alaina Stewart.
Student of the Month Awards went to Kenzie Clark, Emilie Newman, Ethan Morse, Victoria Degenhardt, Ben Lynds, Emily Fitzpatrick, Marina Cameron, Miranda Tidd, Rebekah Holmes, Cooper Blake, Viola Wright, Jonathan Tuttle, Heather Smith, Isaac Cone, Breanna Longstaff, Cecil Hogan, Erin Keehn and Lucas Sewell.
Awards for perfect attendance went to Kole Buzzeo, Kierra Carmichael, Isaac Cone, Abby Deveau, Gage Hunt, Richard Michaud, Felicia Prosser, Josh Sullivan and Mikaelah Tracy.
