Stratham, NH – Deborah (Debbie) Ann (Vozzella) Bradley, 45, passed away at home on February 6, 2010, surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. Debbie was born on September 4, 1964, and attended schools in Medfield, MA.
For twelve years, Debbie worked for various companies including Gillette, Veratec, and BayBank. A beautiful woman, Debbie was voted Miss Petite Massachusetts in 1990 and was a runner-up in the national finals competition. However, it was Debbie’s inner beauty and engaging personality that attracted people to her.
In 1993, Debbie married her husband Bob Bradley. The couple had two beautiful children. Billy, born in 1995, was followed by daughter Aly in 1997. Debbie was an incredible wife and mother. She was very active in her church where she taught CCD and enjoyed sharing her faith with all of her students. Debbie also served as a classroom mother in school for both of her children.
Debbie’s devotion to family was her priority in life. Her warmth, good humor, and zest for life naturally attracted many close friends over the years. Debbie enjoyed her time spent with family at their summer camp on Drews Lake in Linneus, ME.
Debbie’s fiercely strong and unwavering Catholic faith provided the strength and courage she needed after her diagnosis. She demonstrated tremendous grace, dignity, and character during her year long battle. Debbie was truly an inspiration to all.
Debbie is survived by her children, Billy and Aly, and her husband, Bob, of Stratham, NH; her parents, Gerald and Mary Vozzella of Medfield, MA; her sister, Diane Harris, and her husband Jeff of Attleboro, MA; her brother, Gerald Vozzella of Franklin, MA; her mother-in-law, Gail Bradley of Westford, MA; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law David and Janet Bradley of Houston, TX, Stephen and Marcia Bradley of Canton, GA, Karl and Mary Dunn of Greer, SC, Michael Bradley of Stratham, NH; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State Street, Portsmouth. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St James Church 2075 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Portsmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
