Overcoming his fear

Mitchell Bartlett of East Grand School, in the bow, with Outdoor Education Instructor Dave Conley, maneuver the river. Bartlett started the year in the Outdoor Education Class with an extreme fear of water and by year’s end, found himself on a week long whitewater trip with the school. Bartlett plans on doing the trip again this June.
