Woodland family hosts haunted walk

WOODLAND, Maine — Ghouls of all ages converged on the home of Andy, Tiffany, Dylan and Connor Dodd on Oct. 27 as the Dodds hosted a Halloween party for the second- and fourth-graders of the Woodland School.

Close to 150 parents and children attended. Pizza and sweets were served, and events included hayrides, ring toss games and sack races. Prizes were given out to the winners and treat bags were provided to all children.

After dark, a haunted walk through the woods was the main event. Zombies, scary clowns, bats, giant spiders, werewolves, “Friday the 13th’s” Jason and many more made it a fright night for all.

This is the third year the Dodds have hosted a haunted walk, and they are already preparing scary events for 2013.

The Dodds expressed their gratitude to the volunteers who made the Halloween haunted walk a great success.
