Since 1978, Aroostook Right to Read has been promoting literacy among students, parents and educators throughout Aroostook County.
The group recently sponsored a bookmark contest for
students in kindergarten through grade eight in schools. Students were encouraged to think of their favorite place to read, a favorite author or book and create a colorful bookmark.
