The Town of Ashland has welcomed a new public works director, and residents can expect a familiar face with a strong track record of hard work and dedication to the region.
Jeff Jandreau, the newly appointed director, is a self-driven professional with many years of experience in off-road maintenance and construction.
He has “worked extensively with Aroostook County’s largest landowner,” he said. He came to the job from Irving Woodlands.
His background includes a deep understanding of the local landscape and the unique challenges that come with maintaining infrastructure in northern Maine. In addition to his construction experience, Jandreau brings a wealth of knowledge in heavy equipment operation and maintenance—skills that are essential to keeping Ashland’s roads, facilities, and public spaces running smoothly year-round, town officials said.
“I’m a self-motivated individual who takes pride in doing the job right,” Jandreau said. “I hope to be a valuable asset to the Town of Ashland, and I’m truly looking forward to serving the people of our community.”
Town officials said Jandreau’s hands-on expertise and commitment to the area make him an ideal fit for the role. As Ashland works to strengthen its infrastructure and public services, the new director’s leadership is expected to play a key role in shaping the town’s future.
