Katahdin Trust announces promotion of Staples to senior vice president

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Katahdin Trust, a community bank offering full-service everyday banking with 16 locations throughout northern, central and southern Maine, is pleased to announce the promotion of Craig Staples to senior vice president, municipal services officer.

Staples began his career with Katahdin Trust in 2005 as assistant vice president, commercial services officer and he was promoted to vice president in 2008. In his new role, he will continue supporting businesses and municipalities with their banking needs throughout Aroostook County and surrounding areas.

Staples is an active member of the Caribou Kiwanis and dedicates many hours to volunteering in his community. He is also a past recipient of Katahdin Trust’s Top of the Mountain Award, which recognizes employees for their commitment to volunteer service.
